Post types

Six post types for awareness, proof, and leads — when to use each.

Last updated: July 2026

Overview

Posts → Pipeline includes a generator at the top. Each draft uses one post type that sets the goal, structure, and CTA.

Pick types to match what you need this week:

TypeUse when you want…
Journey IDReaders to feel "that's me" — everyday pain, no hard sell
Industry TakeReach and awareness — sharp take on your market or category
Belief ShiftTo change how buyers think about their process
Case StudyProof — real outcomes and numbers
Lead MagnetComments and DMs — gated checklist, template, or playbook
Value PostAuthority — teach one useful idea in the post itself

Weekly cadence: Mon Industry Take → Tue Value → Wed Journey → Thu Case Study → Fri Lead Magnet → weekend Belief Shift. Use Today’s recommendation in Create to follow it automatically.

Funnel badges

Each type shows a badge in the generator:

BadgeMeaning
Awareness (TOF)Top of funnel — reach, no comment-to-DM CTA
Proof / Positioning / Authority (MOF)Middle — trust or reframe
Leads (BOF)Bottom — comment or DM gated offer

Lead Magnet

Tease a resource; the value is what they get after commenting or DMing.

We doubled reply rate by changing one sentence in our opener.

I turned the framework into a one-page checklist.

Comment checklist and I'll send it.

Case Study

Situation → what you did → result → lesson. Use real numbers when you have them.

Belief Shift

Challenge a belief about how they sell or work — not a hot take about the whole industry (use Industry Take for that).

Journey ID

Describe their day-to-day struggle so accurately they self-identify. Product mention optional.

Value Post

One actionable idea they can use without commenting. No keyword gate.

Industry Take

Provocative market or category thesis for reach. Soft close is fine; don't require "comment X to receive."
